Thursday Thirteen - DVR Favorites

I remember being forewarned that DVR would change how we view television. They were right! I now, and even more so my husband, can't stand having to sit through commercials. Will purposely start watching a show 20 minutes after it started so that we can fast forward through commercials or boring parts. Today I have compiled a list of 13 programs on our DVR 'to do list.'
  1. House - At last this will be back on next Monday!!!
  2. Ghost Hunters - Thanks to an iVillage message board buddy, I am now hooked!
  3. American Idol - Need I say more?
  4. Survivor
  5. Jon & Kate Plus 8 - She makes me feel sane!
  6. Little People Big World - I'm not sure with my fascination with little people these days!
  7. Deadliest Catch - This is my husband's favorite!
  8. Law & Order SVU - Great show.
  9. CSI - Another favorite.
  10. CSI Miami - I think I really only watch this because it takes place in Miami - where I live. I honestly can't stand David Caruso's monotone voice!
  11. Top Chef - This show inspires me to want to be a chef!
  12. Hell's Kitchen - I love watch Gordon Ramsey be a nut case!
  13. New Amsterdam - My husband LOVES this show! I watch it, sort of - I flip through a magazine while it's on!

So what am I missing? What are some of your favorites? Share..share..share!!!

Don't forget, Monday is Munchkin Monday! Would you like to nominate your munchkin to be featured? If so, please email me a photo, 1st name, likes, dislikes, and birthday! I'll let you know when your munchkin makes his/her debut!

1. DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - just can't get past Bree and her fancy little intrigues or Gabrieles Hanky Pankies...

2) Cold Case - So sad, so interesting.

3) Dirty, sexy money - The title says it all.

4) Dirt - Ditto

Good list. CSI, John & Kate Plus 8 & Law & Order are some of my faves, too.

A friend of ours says that David Caruso's voice makes his ears bleed. LOL.

Thanks for visiting!

Haven't had a DVR for almost a year and miss it immensely, can't wait to get one again next month. Many of the shows you mentioned. Any reality TV because I skip the useless excess junk.
Great TT, mine is up @ The Cafe if you'd like to pop by.

We don't have a DVR so that's not an option in our house. I do tape a few things, but usually I don't have time to get back to them. lol Something else is grabbing my brain already. Great TT. I watch a lot of those.

My list would be so similar to yours! Although I'm a SVU and CSI junkie, according to my husband! Happy T13!

We got an HD TV that does not jive with our TIVO - so sad. I watch most of the things on your list. I also enjoy Dirt and Brothers and Sisters.
